Before trying to port ComputeFarm to a proprietary platform, perhaps you might want to consider trying a free one first. I think more developers could benefit from that.

An excellent candidate, (if I do say so myself :-) would be a project I lead here at java.net. It is extremely easy to use, and works in all runtime environments: EE, SE, and ME.

I would be happy to answer any questions you might have, and to incorporate any feedback you might offer. I think you would be most intrigued by its capabilities.
