Depends on your requirement.
If you want to build pages from composites that all originate from your own site, then tiles is as good as sitemesh, choose the one you are happier with.
If you want to build page containing content from multiple servers, sitemesh looks the better option.
You could think of it as composition (tiles) vs inheritance (sitemesh) - each is appropriate in many situations, one will be more appropriate than the other. I think you need to play with both to understand the strengths and weaknesses to know when you should use one over the other. |
