I worked with Coldfusion in 2004 and made the move into the Java world in 2005. I have always run into roadblocks when trying to get developers on-board with a Java service/data tier and a Coldfusion UI tier. The Coldfusion tag library coupled with a core Java EE service/data back-end is definitely a very viable solution that eludes many businesses who already have both technologies up and running in their own respective worlds. Most Coldfusion developers don't understand the power of Java and vice versa. |
