I'm not sure what you mean. OpenLDAP is a binary file (or you can compile from source using C). If you're looking for PHP classes that allow connection to a LDAP server as outlined in the article this link may be of help http://freshmeat.net/projects/ldapclassforphp/. I've never used it so your YMMV, but it should get you in the right direction.
