Interesting - I don't know what effect color-blindness (to any degree) would have on LCD Text. You would think that would impact things to some extent; if color-blind eyes combine colors differently, then there may be a different effect for the additive color mixing approach that is explained above.
On the other hand, if colors normally look okay to you on your displays, then it seems like the usual additive RGB approach of displays does the job fine. But whether the more subtle color-fringe effects of LCD Text are more problematic, I don't know.
But as was mentioned elsewhere, some people simply prefer non-AA text in general, which may have nothing to do with color blindness at all.... |
