I tried the article on developing for BB with Netbeans and it works like a charm, the only drawback I can think of, is that you need to change the build file, which at first glance means that you're still developing for just BB, where NB's feature of solving the device fragmentation problem would be excellent to develop for J2ME devices and use the feature to have BB specific solutions where possible for comon problems. BB has its unique set of features which makes it stand out from other devices, but regular mobiles are catching up. The only difference becoming on an API level.
It would be nice to read a white paper on how to develop a MIDlet with NB that includes a BB.
