danielmd, I commend you for taking the effort to explain patiently, why JWS stinks - and shame
on the folks at Sun for not listening.
Yes, I myself have a JWS application (http://juwo.com) and when I wrote it, I thought - how
cool JWS is, so easy to deploy.
However when I gave potential (notice that I say 'potential') customers the JNLP link to my
app, they were simply befuddled by all the dialogs and the fact that the script in the html
to install JWS did not work always.
They got turned off, went away and never came back. My advisors are now recommending that I
implement in Flash, MS.Net instead of Java.
