Personally I do not think that Metal is "not very usable". Especially its new incarnation, Ocean, is quite nice. The discussion about which look and feel looks best or which one is the best choice is a discussion about personal taste, at last. And that is why I think it is so important that programmers let the user decide. And that they let them do it in a conveniant, standardized manner. I not referring to look and feel selectors but to swing.defaultlaf Kind regards Thomas
