I have been using CruiseControl for some time now. It's stable, and has all the features of Continuum, and then some.

The Pragmatic Project Automation book really covers the topic well of how to set up your project for continuous integration. The other books in that series Pragmatic Version Control and Pragmatic Unit Testing pretty much complete the whole idea.

I highly recommend these books and CruiseControl.

While Continuum may turn out be just as effective of a tool why hassle with the preliminary versions and bugs when there is a freely available and open source tool out there already that works extremely well and one that allows you to just not worry about your build process.
