The "don't change anything fanboys" love to write hundreds of lines of boilerplate and assume that no one ever gets any of the redundancy wrong. Maybe it is time to leave Java behind. I'm just not convinced of what else to move to (and yes I know of Scala, Groovy, Ruby, Python, ES4, and lots of other stuff - nothing yet convinces me).
