Going way off topic here, but ... you really don't want to deploy Apple's OS as a server for basic Unix services.
Darwin as a server OS only makes sense if you are in an exclusive OS X environment, and you want to serve out AFP shares, or enable netbooting of OS X clients or similar shenanigans.
For anything else, it's a waste of time and money, compared to what you get out of the box for free (and/or supported) from Sun, Red Hat, Canonical, Novell, etc. |
