Comming form MAC OSX and Cocoa nib files. I am surprised after more than 10 years of life, all java has to offer on the desktop is yet another way to create a "Simple UI".
How will this technology scale when you are trying to do a rich user interface with many controllers and custom views and pixel precise alignment.
Without an editor like InterfaceBuilder all one is left to do is "Simple UI" that can't simply compete.
Oh and what's up with the layouts? Can we have a real dynamic layout ?
Common guys 10 plus years to copy Interface Builder in java is that too much work ? |
