The first of April is when we celebrate April Fools day. As the Wikipedia entry explains, this is is a day when "Many media organizations have either unwittingly or deliberately propagated hoaxes on April Fools Day. Even normally serious news media consider April Fools Day hoaxes fair game, and spotting them has become an annual pastime. The advent of the internet as a worldwide communications medium has also assisted the pranksters in their work."
We had a little fun on the front page with simple stories about open sourcing Duke and requiring all JCP members to exclusively use Solaris. Use the feedback below to submit your April Fools story. We just ask that you refrain from being mean, strive for plausability, and spread a little humor.

I love Google Gulp. I heard (burp!) of Google developing a wireless version of it, so that you can drink it without even opening the bottle while you surf. Obviously it supports encryption.

Many years ago, while working as a Unix sys admin for a university, I sent round an email explaining that we were suffering network load problems, and asking if users could turn down the colour on their monitors - thereby reducing graphics data down from the usual three RBG colour components to a single monochrome. Interesting thing was wandering around the labs a while later and noticing how many users had complied.

Fortunately I just received a fresh case of Google Gulp this morning, to help me get through it.
