Greenfoot is a Java programming environment that is aimed at young beginners: High school age students can get into programming as effortlessly as we did with Basic or Pascal, but in the context of programming interactive, graphical games and simulations. This presentation demonstrates how to make a computer game in 20 minutes. Greenfoot may be interesting for anyone who works with children, schools, who has children, runs a computing club, or is interested in sponsoring school outreach or widening participation programmes.
