The Eclipse project and consortium has announced they are hosting a new conference: EclipseCon 2004. The event will take place February 2-5, 2004 in Anaheim, CA and will "feature technical sessions that represent the entire Eclipse ecosystem including keynotes by Michael Tiemann, CTO of Red Hat, Inc., Grady Booch of IBM Rational, Gregor Kiczales of the University of British Columbia, Erich Gamma of the Eclipse Java Development Tools project, and John Wiegand of the Eclipse Platform project. The sessions will include the opportunity to explore the technical and commercial breadth of the community and hear insights from the experts through talks, tutorials, exhibits, demos and posters."
