The new editor infrastructure? I couldn't care less. I can handle stand-alone programming editors just fine. Editing is not what makes me use an IDE. Integrated tools are.
In their infinite wisdom the netbeans programmers decided to remove a very useful tool, the "auto comment" tool. Because "at some time in the future" the new editor infrastructure should (but currently doesn't) support tighter integration of javadoc editing.
Thank you very much :-( I went back to 5.5.1 because of this.
