Generics in Java: new prototype implementation available: Sun has released a new early access version of a compiler with support for JSR014 Adding Generics to the Java (TM) Programming Language. You will need to login to the Java Developer Connection to access this download. This release includes an experimental extension of the generic type system called variance (check the release notes for more info). The team encourages you to download and exercise the new features and to provide feedback.
