After considering viruses and the grid shutdown, he says "If I were to propose one thing that we as the human race need to do, I'd say we can't let the future just happen anymore."
An Introduction to StAX Elliotte Rusty Harold writes that he likes the recently released pull parsing API for XML in An Introduction to StAX. He writes that StAX "It can filter the documents it parses to modify or log the documents. It can support XML views of non-XML data. It can marshal data structures and objects into XML documents and it can unmarshal the documents back into objects.[Stax in not appropriate] whenever a streaming API doesn't work."
